Regretfully I received an email notification that Yahoo Geocities will be terminated late this summer, so that all websites and storage units will be obliterated. Simply put__"Geocities" will no longer exist.

As with many others, part of this site will be affected also, However It will be just the extra pages attached to our Main Sidebar Directory. 

For Instance the pages with "articles" on What Real Country Music is.

  Yahoo has stated --they will "give us information as to how to "save our content" when the time comes. I have a feeling however__the only "Save" will be__"By charging for the content as a separate work"__If that be so__many of us will "drop" our pages with Yahoo entirely; and try to figure out what to do  to preserve the work in another way.

It is a real shame that these companies have so little concern over their customers, and all the work entailed on their sites.

But then; that seems to be the way of the world these days, that no matter how hard one tries, People just don't care, they take what they can get; and shove the "Ones aside" who set up, and establish original content.

I understand Yahoo recently made some changes to the company anyhow, and as all the rest of the major companies have ''cut back''; I am sure this is also a part of the financial 'crunch' we are enduring.

UPDATE

Well I finally was able to move the 'main' content from those "outer pages" at Geocities here to this end of the Yahoo Engine, so we should be just dandy!

Please understand this part does not allow for all the extra "placements" of graphics and music and such, however the important articles are intact.
